Samara Landis

Biography

Samara is an AVP, Complex Claims Manager at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group.  She currently oversees a group of complex claims specialists in the liability claims group.  Prior to this role, Samara was the AVP-Corporate Claims Manager for Selective Insurance Company of Amereica and oversaw and managed all General Liability claims which included non-litigated, litigated, and complex claims teams.  With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, her knowledge is informed by roles specializing in medical malpractice insurance, health and dental insurance, stop loss, and property and casualty.    

Samara is a graduate of Widener University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Prior to law school, Samara obtained her bachelor's degree in Government from Franklin & Marshall College.  She holds her AIC, AINS, CCP, ACP and FCLS designations and is currently more than halfway through completing her CPCU designation.  She is passionate about insurance, her work, and striving to empower those around her to achieve greater success in all they do.
